These terms are an agreement between you and bule.ai. Please read them before you use the service. By using bule.ai, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
bule.ai is operated by Fikri Karim, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Indonesia. In these terms, "bule.ai", "we", "us", and "our" mean this operator. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
2. The service
bule.ai is real-time English conversation practice with an AI tutor. You talk by voice, and the tutor can optionally see you through your camera so it can respond like a patient teacher. We offer the service through our website (bule.ai), our web app (app.bule.ai), and mobile apps that are coming soon. These terms cover all of these.
3. Who can use bule.ai
You must be at least 13 years old to use bule.ai. If you are between 13 and 17, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and that parent or guardian must accept these terms on your behalf. Any paid subscription for someone under 18 must be purchased by the parent or guardian.
4. Your account
The core service is currently free, and you can use it without an account. If you sign in, you also get your conversation history and a tutor that remembers you.
Signing in works by a one-time code sent to your email. Please keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, and you agree to give us accurate information.
5. Free and paid plans
Today the core service is free. In the future we may offer paid subscription plans. When we do, the following applies:
- Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions. They renew automatically until you cancel.
- Payments are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates), acting as our merchant of record. This means Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, its checkout terms apply to that purchase, and it handles billing, taxes, and refund processing.
- When you cancel, future renewals stop, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Prices may change. We will give you advance notice, and any new price takes effect at your next renewal.
6. Refunds
If you are charged, you can get a full refund within 14 days of that charge, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy for the details of how it works.
7. Acceptable use
bule.ai is for your personal, non-commercial English practice. To keep it safe and working for everyone, you agree not to:
- use bule.ai for anything unlawful, hateful, or abusive;
- harass the tutor or try to manipulate it into producing harmful output;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or use bots or other automated access;
- resell the service or interfere with how it runs;
- impersonate another person.
Every session uses real GPU computing power, so we may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse the service.
8. The tutor is an AI
Your tutor is an AI, not a person. It can be wrong — about English, about facts, about anything. It is a practice partner, not a licensed teacher, examiner, or certification body, and its responses are not professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, or otherwise). We do not guarantee any particular practice result.
9. Your content
You own what you say. You give us a limited license to process your audio, video, and transcripts only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your audio and camera video are processed in real time and are never recorded or stored.
10. Our content and brand
The service, the bule.ai brand, and everything on our site belong to us. Using bule.ai does not transfer any of these rights to you beyond normal use of the service.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using bule.ai at any time. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, and we will give you notice where that is reasonable.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will always be available or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim — or, if you use the service for free, to the minimum the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will announce it on the site — and by email if you have an account — before it takes effect. If you keep using bule.ai after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. This does not affect the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country.
