bule.ai helps you practice speaking English with a friendly AI tutor. You talk, the tutor listens, and — if you turn your camera on — it watches you and replies like a patient teacher. This page explains, in plain words, what we do and do not do with your information.
What we never do
- Your voice is never recorded. Your audio is processed in real time so the tutor can understand you and reply. At most about 30 seconds is briefly held in memory during a turn, then discarded. Nothing is written to disk.
- Your camera is never recorded. Turning the camera on is optional. If you do, the tutor looks at the current video frame in real time. Frames are discarded immediately after use.
- Your audio and video are not sent to third-party AI companies. Speech recognition, the tutor's AI model, and its voice all run on our own servers.
- No advertising, no data sales. We do not show ads, we never sell or rent your personal data, and we run no third-party analytics trackers on our sites.
1. Who we are
bule.ai is operated by Fikri Karim, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Indonesia. We run this website (bule.ai), the app at app.bule.ai, and upcoming mobile apps. We are the data controller for your information. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
Unless we say otherwise, we collect the items below only for signed-in users, and only what we need to run your tutor.
- Account. Your email address, used to send you a one-time code to sign in.
- Conversations. Text transcripts of what you and the tutor said, plus metadata such as when a session happened and how long it lasted.
- Memory. Short facts the tutor keeps about you between sessions (for example, "preparing for IELTS"), extracted from your transcripts.
- Using bule.ai without signing in. If you practice without an account, we do not keep transcripts or memory — the conversation is gone when it ends.
- Payments (when paid plans launch). Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. We never see your card number. Paddle shares with us only what we need to run your subscription, such as your email, country, and subscription status.
- Technical. Standard server and error logs, which may include your IP address and device or browser information.
- Early-access form. If you fill out the early-access form on our marketing site, we collect the phone number you submit.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- run the service;
- let the tutor remember you across sessions;
- show you your conversation history;
- fix errors and keep the service reliable;
- respond to your support requests;
- send you service emails, such as sign-in codes and important account or billing notices. We do not send marketing spam.
4. Service providers we rely on
We use a small set of trusted companies to run bule.ai. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job.

These providers may process data in other countries (for example, the US or the EU). We use them under their standard data-protection terms.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your transcripts and memory facts while your account exists, so the tutor can remember you. To delete your account, email [email protected] — we delete your transcripts, memory, and account data. Logs and error reports expire on their providers' standard short schedules.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to how we process it. Just email [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days. We honor these rights for everyone, regardless of country, including under Indonesia's PDP Law and the GDPR where it applies.
7. Children
bule.ai is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have, we delete it. Users aged 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian's permission to use bule.ai. Guardians can contact [email protected] about their child's data.
8. How we protect your data
We encrypt your data in transit using TLS, and we limit access to only what is needed to run the service. Still, to be honest, no system is perfectly secure.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will announce them on the site — and by email to account holders — before they take effect.
